Marans Eggs - Which way is up???

My Marans hens have been laying for a few months now and the roo is doing his job as a broody hen hatched out some of their eggs. Now I'm tired of waiting for more of my hens to go broody so want to incubate my Marans eggs. Problem is they are so round I seriously cant tell the pointy end from the fat end! Are there any tricks to tell them apart when visually both ends look the same? I have an auto turner and really want to put them the right way up

Marans eggs can be tricky that is for sure.

You can candle them, the end that the air cell is in is the end that you want up. Hope this helps and good luck with your hatch.
