It would be fine as long as you do it quick, and don't let the egg cool down much

I know it doesn't explain the blonde chick.
But the chicks from the Barred Rocks should be black sex-links. The pure black ones pullets, the ones with white dots on their heads roosters. If you know which chicks came from the Rocks.

Also I would separate the broodies, if they still flatten them then take the chicks away or put the remaining eggs in the incubator.
