Hello and Welcome To BYC! Sorry, don't know the info of a supplier in the US, you might try posting on the PA thread to see if anyone local has info on the hatchery that used to have them there https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/248345/pennsylvania-unite or try PMing people who have gotten some in the past?
Thanks, everyone! I am new to this board. I have been intrigued by these birds, but they seem to be found only in BC ,Canada. I think they were available in PA at one point. They are a 4 way cross with a barred rock. I would love to be able to find them here.
We're glad you decided to join the ''flock''! Feel free to ask any questions you may have, there is a lot of great info on this site and I'm sure you'll find answers!
Thanks...they are supposed to be an excellent meat bird. Better than Freedom Rangers for their meaty breast. I have a BR now and she looks pretty meaty to me, so maybe I'll just breed her to a large breed rooster and see what I come up with.
