I know this is probably in the wrong section but I'm posting it here anyway! I find that the "Managing your flock people" are more helpful thats all.
Anyway, I have recently had a lice, mites problem with my girls.... I am going to bathe them on Mon. I have DE, 10% permethrin liquid, and Poultry Dust (also with 10% permethrin) So... here are my questions:
1: for the bath, I am going to use 3 wash tubs.... which one should have the permethrin dip in it? The 3rd one?
2: How much 10% permethrin solution do I mix with the water? What ratio?
3: What should I do (with the products I have) to get rid of any mites/lice in my coop? How often do I repeat this?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
