Does anyone have a Delaware/silver laced wyandotte mix rooster. I think mine may be one but I'm not sure. The chicken is a little larger then my hens but I'm not sure if that's the Delaware side talking. My parents have a full Delaware and she's huge. Mine has two tail feathers that look like they might be rooster feathers. But that could be the silver laced wyandotte part. My parents also had a full one of those. But she passed 2 or 3 years ago.

I see what you mean. In one of those pictures, I thought rooster... last summer, I had a bird, and I though she was a pullet, (I have had birds for years) and then one day I looked at him, and realized he wasn't.

If I ever way to myself, 'wait, is that a rooster? It almost always is. They can be hard to identify especially if they are late crowers.
