Its been a while, but I'm back. Recently moved out of parent's house and now have a small house on 1.25 acres. So of course, new chicken coop!
Since its just me and BF, I want to stick with 4-6 hens ( at least for a couple years) and leaning toward the wichita style coop because of the footprint. However, I need it modified. I'm only 5ft tall, so reaching all the way in the back to clean it is going to a pain. I'm wondering it anyone has a picture of their wichita coop, but with the whole back a door that can open? I can't figure out how to keep the removable roosts in the same place while being able to open the entire door.
I'm going to shift the nesting boxes to the front.
