My hens just LOVE to raise babies. I hatched some eggs in the incubator and gave my broodies a few chicks. These girls LIVE to be moms. It is so fun to watch. (Never mind the screaming broody in the nest box! lol)

The moms are my starter stock that I bought from a local ladies who breeds silkies and satins. My first generation are proving to be just as beautiful. I have a frizzled showgirl too. She was kind of making an appearance on the right side sneaking some food.

Not even a year, Her mom was a silkie+EE+frizzle mix and her dad was a naked neck+frizzle+polish so....... her name is count feathers ( those are pics from a month ago she is molting now and gives people the shidders SHE IS COMPLETLY NAKED)

She’s lovely. I just love naked necks. I think they looks so classy.

I have to say though i am a bit more of a silkie lover here is 2 of mine i have 2 Splash ( Splash and Lavender) 1 white with buff leakege (Buddy my rooster) 1 partrige (poppy) and 1 mauve sizzle (Cinnamon)
