Finally 5-6
I think, They are both from chocolate eggs
welsummer / Rhode island mix
welsummer / silver pheonix mix
My reasoning; both from chocolate eggs which are from my welsummer. I has Light legs which is rhode island and one had dark legs which are pheonix, I think.
The other possibilities are barred rock rooster but it looks nothing like a rock
Please post any thoughts as I am confused on breeding. I mixed them all as this was my first breeding. I am 14 out of 14 eggs breeding. I am not good YET so I must be lucky. I candled quite a bit at first, 6 eggs, then I candled 2 or 3 times with last 6.
Now the first 6 were in my homemade incubator for about 14 days then under a broody for the last 6 days.
