mottled cochin bantam

I have this mottled cochin bantam that is 8 weeks old. Why is it not growing feathers on its body? Its bottom is bare as well. It eats the same food as all my other chicks who are the same age and have no issues. Is this a breed thing? It's my sons favorite chicken, so I'm trying to figured this out.

He's just a slow featherer. It happens sometimes regardless of breed, though some breeds are more prone to it, Cochins and Brahmas especially in my experience. His feathering will catch up to the others eventually and then you won't even be able to tell he was ever behind.
