Adopted a new parakeet from a pet store who neglected him..
Hes acting really weak and for now im providing him with food, toys and water in a low cage but can I do anything else?

Make sure he's eating and drinking, and leave him to settle down for a bit; he might perk up. Watch for things like runny poop, crusty nose, feather loss, etc. It might be a sickness that's making him feel down (one that you don't want spreading to your other birds, so wash your hands every time you touch him or his cage - just to be on the safe side).
If he's still off after a few days, I highly suggest taking him to the vet.
