The stinky meaties are 2 weeks old today. I've been keeping them inside - wondering if now is a good time to move em out!

My nights are about 55-60 F, daytime averaging 75-80 F (sunny California). They don't seem to need a heat lamp at all inside, even since last week.

Should I transition them to go outside during the day for a couple days first? or should I do it *cold turkey* and just keep them ouside 24/7?

Thanks!

ETA: I have 9 poopers. Wings got their feathers and I picked out more active ones (ie. not the sit down and eat type) from the feed store. Their bellies still have their fuzz.

I transition mine. Daytime out, nighttime in. If you have power available and can put a light on for the night if needed, you can speed it up a little. Meaties are warmer than regular birds and as long as they have the heat available as well as move away from it if needed they will be okay. The transition just seems to make it easier for them and me to feel comfortable with the babies outside!
