much ado about VA

i'm moving to virginia , doe3s that count?
i have a blue andulusian and it is about 8 weeks old , don't know if it is a roo yet , should he she be crowing by now .
his name is ray charles and he is very smart looking.
 
I'm in Chesterfield and new to Chickens. Currently have a pair of partridge rocks, 4 BR pullets, and 7 guineas ranging from 6-12 weeks. I've also got guinea and BR eggs in the incubator due to hatch this Friday.

We moved here 9 years ago and we love it. My husband is an engineer and after college he had 3 job offers in Pennsylvania and one in Virginia and he knew I wanted to live down south again. It helps that the cost of living is much lower where we are than the places in PA we would've been living. Great iced tea, too!

I'am a native of petersburg.VA but all my flock is located in DEWITT,VA. Just minutes off of I-85 exit.
