Multiple day hatch...

That is nature, most will make it ok but a few won't. I hatch out a lot of chicks each year and most hatch out ok, but there are some I have to cull. I had a couple of chicks that weren't eating and bumping into the feed dish, waterer and other chicks. I discovered they were blind. What kind of quality life can a blind bird have. I raised one male several years ago that was blind, never again. I have had to cull a few over the years and it isn't fun but the chicks wouldn't have been able to have a good quality life as they were and I didn't want them to struggle. I have saved a few and they did eventually die because of their complications.
