My chicks are 5 1/2 weeks old and have just moved into their coop! They are loving it so far except for the dark at night.
Anyways, I was standing in amongst them this morning and while holding one I felt the others picking at my legs. I am wearing capri pants. I looked down and they had DRAWN BLOOD!! OMG! They want to EAT THEIR MOMMY!! I think as much as we love our chicks, they would eat us in a heartbeat if we were to keel over in their coop or at least peck out our eyes!! Mine look hungrily at my eyes! EEEEEEKK. Gives one pause! Hmmmmm.
