So, today I let my chickens come out of the coop by themselves, instead of me carrying them all out, and the two roosters were out of there in about 2 seconds, but my little Cochin hen looks at the ground, then back at me, then back to the ground, then back at me, as if she was saying, "What?! You want me to walk down that?!"
So I go and put the roosters in their outdoor pen-thingy (thanks, Petco.) and come back to get her, and she's still in the mouth of the coop. I really wanted her to learn its safe to walk down it, so I lured her out with a strawberry at the bottom of the ramp. She shot out of there like "Strawberry! STRAWBERRY! It's mine!" So I got her out eventually....
Peanut. The only hen who will stare down a fox, but is afraid of the ramp.
