Ours isn't what I'd call terrified, but when she walks near where the chickens are, one will come for her and she runs. The other two cats just know to stay away.

In the house though, we have a brooder in the living room and the gutsy one sleeps on top of it.

wow a cat scared of a chicken! that's new for me! try keeping the cat away from the chickens. are your chickens free range? if not then let your cat outside when the chickens are in there coop and when you want the chickens out just put the cat inside. I hope that works for you!
