All my 5 chickens are now 21 wks old. Started losing feathers just as they came out of babyhood. The feather loss continued right up to their age 21 weeks. They are not molting, their feathers look healthy, no skin spots.
What's up with so many feathers in coop and lined up against the fence. Sometimes they are long feathers, sometimes small fluffy white feathers.
They have a large run dirt and grass.
I don't see this in anyone's pictures of their coops and runs.
Could it be a vitamin deficiency? I give them layer, non GMO food, lot's of greens and fruit and scratch.
