My husband made our coop from scrap 2x6's, and scrap sheet metal, it's not much to look at, but it's sturdy, and the chickens don't seem to mind what it looks like lol.

very cool, we are working on making a coop from an old shed and using an old bed frame for a roost. We have an old dryer, rectangle planter boxes, and dresser drawers, for nesting boxes. like they say, "One mans junk is another mans treasure."
