My eggs look like they have a spare tire :/

I have five little girls I got as chicks this past spring. They started laying about three weeks ago. YEAHH!!! love it! Recently there are ones which have a kind of ring around the shell... kinda like a spare tire. Or a speed bump. That's not distortion from the camera... Is it something with one of their anatomy? should I be concerned? I have oyster shell for them on demand, should i take it away? It started as one here or there and now 2 in one day. They are lighter in color so I think it's either my Barred Rock, Polish Crested or Bare Neck. Could it have to do with one of the breeds? My RIR are slightly older and their eggs are beautiful.

That happens with mine sometimes. I never thought it was anything to worry about. It'd be interesting to know why it happens though.

One of my Barred Rock hens consistently lays eggs just like this! My thought was that they are a little slow coming out of the shoot...

The "slow outa the shoot" was my first thought too...

Several of mine have been doing this lately. Don't know why. They're starting to molt, so maybe they're worn out and need a rest.
