My first BCM egg

thank God i finally got one. this is my second egg from my Black Copper Marans i hatched out this summer. The first one froze and broke before i found it. I cant wait till i have enough to go in the bator.

how long can you keep eggs beforeyou put them in the bator( or under the broody hen) and do you keep them in the fridge or out?

Thank you all. I am happy with them. this is my second attempt this year at hatching and raising BCM chicks. the first batch was about 4 months old when some ones dog killed them all back in June. I almost gave up on them then i bought more eggs and now i am finally getting to see some rewards. and don't worry i took care of the 3 running at large dogs and these chickens are safe and sound
