I set the 100 eggs on 3-15-2010 at 8:00 pm in my still air Little Giant incubator. The temp ran about 100 to 100.5 most of the time, humidity around 35% til I stopped turning, then 60%.
I got up around 4 am this morning, thought i'd check on things and WOW, we got birds! About 4 of them. 8:15 we have 15. Most of my other (6) hatches went the full 18 days, this time it was 16 days and 8 hours when the first one hatched. I stopped turning them on Tuesday, 3-30-2010, so it was only 1 day and 16 hours after turning that the first one hatched.
I have one so far that looks a little underdeveloped, eyes closed yet and a little bare.
I'm hooked again. 15% and counting.
