Since then 4 more have come on line.

So far in one month my 5 hens have laid 94 eggs. Keep in mind for the first 8 days only one was laying, hen 2 started on day 8, hen 3 on day 10, hen 4 on day 13 and the last straggler on day 23. So it's not a full month of production from the 5.

I've gone from an egg a day to averaging 4 a day. I can't wait till the other 25 start laying.

I should have 5 more start any second.

Lets see if this works.... YES IN A NERD... and I'm keeping track of my egg production

Thought it might be useful/inspirational for all those new peeps waiting on their hens to start laying.

Okay, that's a little confusing....

But if you look at it carefully you can figure it out. Congrats on the egg farm!

I agree it doesn't translate well from an excel spread sheet.

The important number is the total just right of the date, eggs collected each day. After that it's what I got every day by color. (OE- olive egger, Drk Brown -BCM, Light Brown -BCM, Blue- Amaraucana)

It just didn't paste well. I tried several times to clean it up but couldn't figure it out.

The best part is that you know who is laying what. I have the devil of a time trying to figure it out because I have at least 9 brown egg layers. And more due to start any day.

I have one green egg layer, and I have no clue which hen it is! I need a remote camera, or a chair where I can just sit all day and watch!

Sorry, can't work today, I need to watch the hens lay.
