I finally got a few good pictures of my small backyard flock today and I don’t know many people who care about chickens more than this group, so I had to share!
We had a small flock last year but had to start over this spring so it’s been a long process with not much of a reward yet, but we’ll get there!
Here we have the two older girls at 18 weeks:
Noodle - Columbian Wyandotte
Niblet - Red (sold as an Easter Egger but I think that just means a production red?)
And the babies at 9 weeks:
Patty - Easter Egger
Shrimpy - ISA Brown
They are finally co-mingling as a unified flock and I love seeing their rainbow of colors when they are all next to each other. Noodle is our ring-leader and Patty is a spazz, but they are all happy and healthy so far! I can’t wait for some eggs to finally start coming our way (assuming/hoping they are all pullets...).
