We have a 2 yr old Toulouse. We have been having a mild winter until the polar vortex showed up. My goose and chickens like to come out and wander around as we let them free roam on the property. Now that its -30 only my goose has been coming out in the afternoon. The ramp for them to get into the coop is slick and no matter what i do to the ramp to give it grip the goose bites it off. He struggles to get back in the coop so i pick him up and carry him in around 6pm if i notice he is still wandering around outside. Today is really cold -30 and he came out of the coop and is walking around and sitting in the snow. Is it too cold outside for him or is he ok? If it were cold and he wanted back in i wouldnt know the cues. He isnt standing at the coop door but comes to my house door. Not sure what to do. It is making me worry that he is cold.
