A few weeks i think it was I asked the forum if my hen would ever lay again because she had been attacked and her butt was torn off and she had lost her foot and some toes on the other foot. Well today I went to check on her and she was laying in the nesting box making noise and looking like she was trying to lay. I go back in house and check back later and there it was a small really light light brown egg. I was proud of her. She faught and servived and she lays now. She looks funny with missing toes, foot and no tail feathers but she still going strong. Chickens are tough!
