Frostbite will heal on it's own, and the tips of his comb could become rounded off. If you want him as a show chicken, he might need to be caged. But I would let him be with his flock, and spend some time observing them together. Make sure they have plenty of room, and separate bullies if the pecking gets bad. But they should work out their problems. If you have other roosters, they will need to be separated or they will spar.
