Hi my name is Patricia. My Pekin duck is laying eggs. I see my two mating. But don't know if ones a drake. No drake. Feather on one of them. It could have fallen out. There are eight eggs in nest. They have feed water. Extra hay for nest. So if both are girls, how long are eggs good on nest. This us first time I raised them from two days old. I hope I have a male and female. Thanks for any help

Do they both quack? Only girls quack. If they are both female (quacking) the eggs will not be fertile. They should be removed and eaten- I hear they are excellent to bake with.
