I noticed a few of my hens with a few feathers here and there missing. I thought perhaps it was my Roos. I had 3:1 ratio. So I moved out my Roos to a bachelor pad and have my 6 hens together. All are around 1-1 1/2 years. 3 EE and 3 Dom's. The weather here in NE La has been bipolar at best.... No real winter lots of rains and clouds..... They reside in a covered pen 13x17 feet with dirt floor. I rake every other day, they have fresh water and pellets with occasional chops and fresh veggies or leftovers. Treats are mealworms. They have various perches with different heights and about a 2x5 dust "bed". Over the last few weeks I've noticed Raven is looking like (forgive me) she's been on chemo! Ive looked for little buggers but don't see any. She is the worst but 2 others have a bar patch on back..... 3 are fine. I try to let them out more now that the time has changed. Any ideas of what I can do. Shes still a happy camper just almost NAKED! I'd appreciate your advice....
