Vaccination works. That's when the wife catches me sneaking more eggs into the incubator and says, "Do we really need more chickens?"

There are also meetings. I'm co-organizer (read that as enabler) of an 800 member chicken meetup group. We get together for coffee/lunch and even coop tours.
I hope your meetings don't start with introductions and "I like chickens, etc., etc., but really, I want a chicken meet-up group too! How do you find one?

X2...we are the meetings, but we're enablers:lau:lau
I enjoyed reading about how you became infected.

There is no cure, no vaccine, no special meetings and no way to control the urge to get new chicks every spring.

It's ok. We are always here for you.
When your family, friends, coworkers, and strangers don't want to see pics of all your chicks we will be here.
When it's spring and it seems every store you go in has chicks, cute fuzzy chicks, we will be here.
When you need to expand your coop because the chicks got you we will be here.

You are in good company here. :D

Go to meetup.com and enter your location and chickens.
https://www.meetup.com/find/
It will tell you if there are already any near you or you can start your own.
