Our new neighbors are building an addition onto their home. They have been very good neighbors so far and they said they want the birds in their yard for bugs etc. We live on an old family farm that was sold off in sections when the family picked up and moved to AZ. We have the main house and all the buildings and the new neighbors have the "grandma's house." Anyway, our places are separated by the driveway and a large line of lilacs. It works very well. Today, I walked out of the barn and was walking to the house and saw ALL(16) of my turkeys over in the neighbor's yard "helping" the construction workers.

They usually come running when I call them. Not today.

I had to walk over and get them. The guys were laughing as they told me the turks were fine. Yesterday, however, they were afraid of my 1 yr old tom Ole. He's never been aggressive, but loves his strut. They all said they enjoyed the help once they realized he wasn't aggressive. At that remark, all of the turks flew back to the barn. Silly birds...
