I got my broody 4 baby chicks. I bought from TSC. The only chicks they had in stock were Cornish, ISA browns, barred rock & silver laced Wyandotte. They had no chicks the day before, and these chicks had just come in that day, so those are the options. I immediately noticed the BR & SLW were labeled incorrect, but I wanted 2 of each. One of the BR chicks looked different and I had to have it. She is the little chick in front. Behind her is the BR then a SLW. Chick in question does have a white spot on head. Maybe a Cuckoo Marans? It is a single comb. The wing tip that has feathered is white, not black like the BR. I’m assuming this chick was a stowaway from the hatchery & cant wait to see her feather out & figure out what she is.

Might take some pics of chicks alone on good lighting...can be hard with broody chicks I know.
I finally got out to take pics. She is just over a week old. She is colored like an Australorp or black jersey giant, but the leg color and white head spot are wrong. Sold as barred rock, but really doesn’t look like the other barred rocks. My only guess is cuckoo Marans.
