So I placed an order for 3 sapphire gem chicks from our local farm supply. Clearly that's not what I got. I even checked them when I picked them up and just looked at home cute and healthy they were and didn't even think to make sure they were the right ones. So I think Hoover's were the ones that supplied these chicks and they sent them all in one crate to my local shop and the local shop apparently isn't experienced in figuring out what what breed is what. I am pretty sure they are either midnight majesty marans or black jersey giants or some combination.
This one I am pretty sure is a midnight majesty Maran.
The other two look almost identical but one is a touch lighter with more yellow on its face and neither have feathered legs.
Any ideas ?
