I keep owls away using deer netting. Owl may break through on first encounter with netting. Repair and owl will likely respect it after that.

We had partitioned off the rooster part of the coop a while back so we put the remaining ducks in an available cage. I didn't know what else to do. We put the carcasses on a patch of fresh snow in the duck pen to see what the predator is. I think the owl is plausible I'd like to know for sure.

Also, good idea using deer netting. Not sure if we have some but I'll keep that in mind in the future. Thanks for your help.
