Strange that he hasn’t integrated himself.

The only time I have had chickens do that when I have added new ones is this group of 4 Bantam Ameraucanas. They stick together and rarely mingle with the Silkie/Brahma group they live with.

Every other new chicken I have gotten has mingled and found friends within my existing flock even when I got them in pairs or groups.

No, New Hampshire Reds are lighter than RIRs.
