At my local feedstore: they recieved an order of rhodies, but two chicks were odd and I decided to buy them to figure out what they are
they have the little black stripe across eye, the chipmunk pattern, yellow legs, black and brown barring on wings. They were same size at this point to the rhode islanders, the store called ideal and they said they don't mix chicks, but these two are clearly different any ideas?

Your description sounds like my EE. She looked liked she had eye liner on her eyes. We'd need a picture to be accurate.

Obviously not a RIR. It could be any number of breeds, but if it has muffs and/or green legs than it is an EE (mistakenly called Auracanas or Ameracaunas by hatcheries and feed stores).
