Azle awoke from his long sleep. It was a dragon's prerogative to sleep however long he wanted. He was long past the mandates of his parents . He worked his way to the entrance of his cave and with sleepy eyes looked around the exterior. Unimpressed, he journeyed onward in search of one of the two nagging needs his body required at the mmoment. A cool, refreshing drink of water. For food could come later.

Conterriti finished her meal and stored the unicorn bones at the back of her cave like always. Leaving her cave, she stretched, yawned, and let out a rattling howl. Her panting echoed throughout her surroundings as she slowly walked through the forest, snapping at the small critters in their trees or on the ground.

Conterriti rubbed against a tree, her chain scratching it's bark, and then she laid down in a pile of cool, fine dirt.

Firefly padded quietly through the trees, her ominously glowing body lighting anywhere she went. Behind her, she left small, neat, glowing paw prints that faded away in a few seconds. A small insect zipped toward Firefly's light, but she snapped her jaws and caught it.

Then she heard something. Paw steps? No... Too loud. Hooves.

Diablo and Garra heard Conterriti's howl, and replied with another insanely load howl. Two actually, perfectly in sink.

Firefly froze at the sound of the howl, but she could tell it wasn't close enough to see her. But the hooves where getting loader, and that's what she needed to worry about. "Hopefully a unicorn, or a deer." She thought, but as soon as she caught a glimpse of it, she knew it was something much, much worse. She started to fly, maneuvering through the trees, not daring to look behind her. But Firefly suddenly thudded into what felt like a wall made of snake skin. She glanced up. A... A dragon?

Azle looked down with uncertain scrutiny. "Are you in the habit of flying and not watching where you're going? I'm hardly easy to miss." He said good-naturedly to the winged creature. He then looked up at the sound of hooves curiously. He instinctively covered Firefly with the faned out tip of his tail. "What is it? You seem frightened. " He asked quietly.
