Many years ago we had a new flock of RIR chickens. They were growing and thriving, and one of them was a rooster. He became so handsome and happy, since he had all the girls to himself. But then we noticed a little banty rooster hanging around. He would come over from the neighbors house next door almost every morning. He started beating up the big rooster, and then we noticed that almost every day one of our young hens would disappear. So I went next door to see the neighbor, and there were my missing hens in his yard. I told him that it seems that his little rooster was seducing and eloping with my hens. We had a good laugh about it, and he told me to take that ornery little rooster home with me, he didn't want it around his place. So I did. But this made the big rooster miserable, so he wound up in the crock pot. We named the little banty Napoleon and he lived a long happy life.
