Broad breasted whites and broad breasted bronse have such a big breast area that they can't really do the job.

I have read that some breeders are breeding down the size on the sweetgrass which originated from a broad breasted type. One of the best sources to see a great variety of turkeys that can breed are at Porters TUrkeys. com , Just note that not all area APA recognized breeds. He has so many interesting turkeys-- far more than just the APA breeds.

YOu can be preety sure he only has those that can reporduce naturally.

Also, Heritage toms can breed a broad breasted hen.
