Yes, but of course, you’re ”guesstimating“.
And I’m trying to be precise, and enjoy the conversation and what I may learn.
Perhaps, if we consider that, no matter how large the animal’s brain, their reasoning, if we may call it that, is not always going to align with what we reason to be the most appropriate action. I think this is what’s being expressed here, but with some errors with our understanding and perception. As you may know, larger brains don’t automatically equal intelligence.
What’s amazing is that animals have their own unique individual characteristics and then they generally have a natural tendency towards doing certain things. Basically, the rooster just needs to know who’s dominant in his relationships. But to say that in general we ought to distrust him because of his anatomy, is rather base.
