foxy

Hoping what I thought is a Foxy isn't a Fox instead! I have read through a lot of this forum but since I m a newbie I find it a little bit confusing. I appreciate any help, thanks. Sorry for so many pictures but hoped that would be the best way to get some fairly accurate thoughts on Gender. My Mom who years ago used to be able to sex the chickens by looking at parts...checked at approx two weeks of age and now and there was nothing showing that indicated it being roo

Thanks, too bad....I have read that some pullets can have the three rows so was hoping that wasn't proof of a roo....probably will keep him anyway but had really hoped for a pullet

Definitely a cockerel. I've been blessed to have others to compare to. My first two boys had combs just like that at that age. The pullets still don't have combs to speak of and they are almost 16 weeks.
