Need help with two hens

Hi there I have two silkie hens in two seperate boxes as they were broody at the same time so I seperated them to let them set on their eggs properly. 1 hen had 2 eggs and the other 6, 1 of the 2 hatched and 4 of the 6. Could I put the two hens and their chicks in together so the one chick isn't lonely when mum thinks its grown up? Will they share responsibility or fight?

I'd give it a try. In my experience silky hens are pretty mellow and will share broods without much squabbling. If there are problems, you can always seperate them. I'm betting everything will be OK.

The boxes are all built together I'll just remove the divider and see how it goes means less feeders and waterers as well
