In the Brooder
Hello everyone!! I am so so happy to be a part of this community. I have learned so very much from all of you and I am proud to say for my first time ever hatching I got two out of five ducklings that are happy and healthy. And I couldn't have done it without all of YOU!!
That being said...why are my day old ducklings shedding their down?? I can not figure out why this is happening and can find no one else who has mentioned it. It literally covered my hand and I can see the down on the towel in the brooder as well. They are happy and healthy so far. eating drinking and sleeping but and running around a bit. Why would this happen? I am so worried. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
