Nest box material

Mine never poop in the nest box... I'm used to that.

Poop in nest usually means they are sleeping in there.

I've been using pine shavings but the hens like to kick it out until they are to the bare wood bottom. I think I'm going to try some straw, but my hens freak out with anything new.
