never did molt

I have four hens that are now 2 years old. they have laid nicely for a 18 months. but they never molted last fall, still haven't, and are beginning to look a little frayed featherwise and eggshell wise too. I suspect they need a break from egg laying. anyone else's chickens skip molt?

Sex links are pretty well known for this. They are simply egg laying machines. I've had some that didn't moult until their second year, but when they did, look out! They looked PLUCKED for over a month, and didn't lay any eggs for two months.
