Silkie x 16 weeks, was told it was a female?

I'm a bit suspicious...at 16 weeks that's quite a bit of red comb and wattles especially for a Silkie cross...maybe if it were Leghorn/Silkie you might see some pronounced comb/wattles, and if it lays soon....but I'm suspicious of roo.
