Hi, I just joined today. I have 2 kids & we are having fun raising and showing different breeds just for fun (so far Wyandottes, Blue Andalusians, Polish, & bantam Americaunas .(I was raised with chickens for both eggs and meat growing up usually barred rock or Rhode island red) We really want to promote the Lavender variety in the Bantam Ameraucanas, which is not yet in the standard. We would love to meet other breeders of this variety and haven't found any yet. We are in Washington State.
