New chicken mom on the move

I am currently living in Pennsylvania and a while ago someone bought me six baby chicks. Not planning that I knew I would be moving back to Florida. Now knowing that I have to take these chicks with me how does anybody suggest moving them?. I've become very attached and couldn't imagine leaving them behind.

Put some bedding in a moving box and close it up with sufficient air holes.
If it is dark, they will sleep.
