New chicks dying off. Just got them today.

I just got my order from Cackle today and two chicks died and one is sick. These are the first chicks that I have EVER had die. I am doing everything that I did before... I don't know what to do...

I'm sorry. We had good luck with Cackle about a week ago. I am surprised b/c it took them two days to get here. None have died yet.
How long did it take for them to get to you.

Try the following:

Electrolytes
Sugar Water - 2 table spoons to a quart of water
never put electrolytes and sugar water together.

What is the heat temp.
How long did it take them to arrive.
Use a red light or black light and keep and eye on the temp.

I just got mine in today as well from Cackel. I picked them up at 7am from the post office!
As soon as I got home I dipped EVERYONE of their beaks in the warm water and had feed on the ground for them to eat! They have been doing great!

This is how they were shipped!
Make sure their butts are clean, they have food and water that is warm not cold!

ALSO.... Make sure they are not to hot! I have my brooder outside, so I turn off the heat lamp during the day when the outside temp is ABOVE 91 degrees and then turned it back on when it dropped. They have room to get out of the heat also, but it is so warm outside they do not need the extra heat!
