New coop construction

Just joined here and figured I would show off. Y coop that im building. 4x6 for our 8 pullets.

It looks like you have a helper there who is loving the job!

That is going to be a very nice coop.

Do make sure you use 1/2 inch hardware cloth on the windows/openings that are larger than 1/2 inch, due to weasels, rats, raccoons, etc. who can get through lesser fencing.

The window screens need to be covered with hardware cloth, in other words.

Welcome to BYC, and I Love to see a dad and his helper at work. It just does not get any better than that. The birds will also teach him a lot, all very valuable lessons to be learned. Oh, and the coop looks nice too…
