New here and learning to navigate

So I was recently given a Rooster from a friend. He is what I consider to be a very beautiful bird! He is calm, well mannered and very attuned to taking care of my girls! All in all he is a wonderful addition to our flock!

I would like to know if anyone can help me identify his type or is he simply a mix?

Also would hatching eggs from my RIR and or Ameriacaunas be ok to do or not? Any info would surely help a lot!!

I don't know his breed but if your goals are to increase your flock or sell chicks then hatching is ok.
Just be prepared with a plan on what to do with extra males.

There are site settings you can activate to enhance your time here, but because it’s been long enough since I joined I will need to point you to staff such as @TwoCrows. These are most likely accessible by clicking your avatar (which for now is the first letter of your username) and then the button “Preferences” to adjust email updates, etc.

This site is available on computer/mobile browsers, as well as a mobile app. I have only experienced the former two.
